Last November we announced that we were starting to test a new interface with a limited group of publishers. Since then, we’ve been focused on adding new features and incorporating feedback from our testers. Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re rolling out the new AdSense interface to all publishers globally. You should now see a “Try the new AdSense interface” link appear in the upper corner of your account. Clicking the link will bring you to the new interface.
Built based on feedback we’ve heard from you, our publishers, the new interface is full of features designed to help you make more money with AdSense. We want to thank you for all the input you’ve given us, and show you some of the ways it’s reflected in the new interface.
You’ve told us that data that helps you better understand your performance is critical to growing your revenue, so we’ve made sure that the new interface gives you more insights.
You can now run even more detailed performance reports by ad type, ad size, ad unit, targeting type, and bid type for total earnings and other metrics, over custom date ranges. You’ll also find graphs of your data on the new Performance reports tab. You can quickly view impressions, clicks, and earnings all in one graph, compare text ad performance to image ad performance, compare date ranges, and easily analyze data to recognize trends.
You’ve continued to let us know that protecting your brand by having control over the ads that run on your site is extremely important, so we’ve improved our ad controls and made them easier to use.
All ad controls are now in one place, on the Allow and block ads tab. Here, you’ll be able to filter ads from specific advertisers, categories, and ad networks. In addition, you’ll notice that we’ve updated the ad review center to make it easier to review and manage ads that have been placement-targeted to your sites. You can now search for ads in the ad review center by ad type, keyword, URL, or ad network, and choose to allow or block them.
You’ve shared with us the need to manage your account more efficiently, so we’ve redesigned the interface to help you complete tasks quickly and easily.
The new interface allows you to quickly see your earnings and payment information, find relevant features, and make changes to your account. It also brings relevant help and other resources, like videos and blog posts, right into the interface, so you can get the information you need without leaving your account.
We encourage you to give the new interface a try. To learn more, check out google.com/ads/newadsense. You’ll find additional videos, including a tour of the new interface, information about new features, and a getting started guide. You can also join the conversation in our Forum to share best practices and discover what other publishers think about the new interface.
Thanks again for all your feedback. We hope you like the new interface!
UPDATED Nov. 11, 2010: All AdSense publishers now have access to the new interface, as our Engineering team was able to speed up the roll out across all accounts.

I have this massive fear that the new interface will *require* Flash. Will it?

The new interface looks good but we can still enter a limited number of URLs in the Advertiser URLs [Competitive Ad Filter]:
Please increase the limit so that we can block irrelevant ads:
We can block ads in the Allowed section but this section seems to show only a limited number of ads:
Also, I think the Category filter option is still offered to limited users? As I cannot see this option in my account:
Please increase the number of URLs that we can add in the Competitive Ads Filter:
Thank You

Hey Guys
Absolutely LOVE the new interface, was lucky enough to get beta a few months back - you guys are doing a fantastic job!
There used to be a reporting section for showing earnings by site domain for example mysite.com/www.mysite.com - i can't seem to find this anymore? Maybe i'm looking in the wrong spot or was it removed? It was by far my most favorite report on the site - really easy to break down earnings by site, see growth or decline etc etc - is there anyway to get this report back?
Again - this new interface is fantastic, I really appreciate all the great work you guys do and LOVE ADSENSE..
Thanks,
Loren

The overview page must contain daily channel data like in the old version. Till then its the old one for me. Its a matter of efficiency for me.

I'm with Arindam Sarkar. Bring back the channel data on the overview page or the new interface will never be used. Not to mention defaulting to today's earnings instead of the last 7 days.

It would be nice if I could start on the reports tab since the overview page is not very relevant to me.
I liked the old reports where I could immediately see how much I made that day and which channels the revenue came from.
Maybe a drag and drop system of reports on the first overview page similar to Analytics so we can decide what we see on the opening page?

This interface is a mess. I hate it.
Please guys just because something has been used for along time it does not mean it has to be changed.
The old interface is much easier to navigate.
This one simply sucks.
Have only tried it in Safari maybe it is better in other browsers.

You need to include money converter also to the new adsense page. Remaining all good and add a preview button on ad units (for each ad). All the best..

Now if only you could start working on clearing the backlog of adsense applications, we'd be getting somewhere! Two to three months for a response is ludicrous!

I have been testing the new interface for the past year or so, and I think it has some great advantages, but the OVERVIEW screen in particular has major problems. FIRST and foremost, WHY was the defualt view switched a couple of weeks ago from Page CTR etc to Ad CTR? It is a less useful statistic. SECOND, the overview report should be "sticky" between logins and should have a URL channels option. (this was available all year and just removed two weeks ago) That way we can set for instance "Yesterday" and "URL channels" and leave it and see that report every time we log in by default. That is how it is with the old interface. THIRD -- the totals were removed from the overview report. Why can't I quickly see how much I in total made over the last 7 days or whatever? This is trivial to add back. It was there all year and removed two weeks ago.
FINALLY -- the three totals shown by default in the upper left are not useful. Obviously the first one is, but the other two could easily be moved to the payments page -- they are not stats we need to refer to daily. What SHOULD be there for sure is YESTERDAY'S TOTAL, for quick daily reference, and maybe the past 7 days' AVERAGE DAILY TOTAL, so that we can see how we are doing.
I saw that when I gave feedback on your survey, many of the items I mentioned were fixed a day or two later. I hope this stuff will similarly be fixed. You could also hire me. I live 20 minutes from the Google offices in Toronto, and I even have your Google Canada mug from last year's AdSense event here.

I am getting used to the new interface. What I don't like is that the CTR in the new interface isn't even close to the one in my old interface, and my earnings today have plummeted. Hoping this is just some temporary problem. :)

The new interface is bloody awful. With the old one I can just login and find out the details quickly including channel info.
This new interface is a hard to navigate mess.
I really hope I'm not forced to use this when it goes live.
Didn't you guys ever hear the wise old adage? "If it aint broke, don't 'fix' it."

YES! I posted my comment yesterday and already you have fixed one major issue on the "performance summary" section -- the totals have been added back. Now just allow us to configure that default summary that shows up when we login, so that we see what we choose there (for instance, I would put YESTERDAY / URL channels / Page CTR) and please give us YESTERDAY'S ESTIMATED EARNINGS up at the top under TODAY'S.

In chrome I'm unable to get passed the "Click here to use the new interface" page. Also the same thing happens when I try to click no thanks. So I'm pretty much stuck on the page asking me if I want to use it or not. Can't get anywhere from there.

There are some nice features like graphs and reports by ad type and ad bid types but in general it is horrible. It is less intuitive and messy.
Before I could see all ad channels on the advanced report page and in a second I could select another channel and show report for that channel. Now I have to go back to the previous page to add a new channel and Get Report. Do not understand why channel list cannot be on the top of report page. ¿Trying to save space?
Before in one click I could quickly get yesterday, last week, month report and earnings I had yesterday, etc. for all the channels: custom and url. Now I can see only custom channels and to display url channels I have to click url channels, select all channels and click Get Report. Four clicks and no overall picture...
Tab order: Allow and block ads should be the last tab, it is used less frequently than Reports and My Ads, at least for me…
Still investigating ….

@Work at Home Mom -- the CTR is the same, but you are seeing lower CTR because for some STUPID reason, they have changed the default view to Ad CTR, impressions etc, instead of PAGE CTR, impressions, etc. You can't change it back on the overview page (sucks!), but you can change it on the reports page and save reports in page format, which is much more useful stats-wise than the Ad unit format.

Missing ability to define default performance Summary Settings.
When I do a quick check I want to know 2 main items
1- what my daily numbers are
2-what my month to date numbers are
In performance Summary I would like to see either
1-where "this month or month to date" is the default
not the last 7 days
or
2-Where we can set what numbers are shown ie. select our
own defaults to display when we go to our home page.
I understand this is beta
But usually beta means you want some feedback
That is my feedback
I had posted in the adsense forum earlier since
there are no links to this blog from inside the new interface which would be maybe be a "normal" thing to do with a beta release - tell people where they might post feedback???

Hi everyone,
Thank you all for the compliments and great feedback! We’ve answered a few of your questions below and encourage you to let us know what you think to you continue to use the new interface. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve your experience, and really appreciate your comments.
@Zak: Flash is used on the performance reports, but you should be able to use the rest of the interface without it.
@yasirwazir: There are no plans to increase the URL limit at present, but we’ll keep you all posted if this changes.
@BackgroundCheck: It sounds like you were using the Sites report which we removed because it was not ready for the full launch of the new interface. Here are a few other solutions to help you get your domain and subdomain reports:
1. Link your AdSense account to Google Analytics for detailed reporting by page. To learn more about integrating AdSense with Analytics, visit https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=92625
2. Create URL channels to track domains and subdomains. Find out how to set up URL channels at https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13993
@Swamykant: Thanks for compiling the videos! We’ve also made a YouTube playlist with all of them at http://www.youtube.com/user/InsideAdSense?feature=mhum#p/c/85914562A422B164/4/LIrcreKb9Yg, and dedicated a tab to the series on https://www.google.com/ads/newadsense. Check it out!
@Arindam Sarkar, @emr and hippa, @All Inclusive Blog, @blogman: Great ideas! We're working on a number of enhancements to the home page based on publisher feedback. You should see these rolling out soon!
@Global Yellow Pages: You can access the new interface through a link available on the upper right corner of your account. You can switch back and forth between versions at any time.
@Robert, @Hans, @sweet_gangstas: Not all browsers are fully supported by the new interface. We suggest you access the new interface using either Firefox 3.5, Google Chrome, Safari 4, or IE8.
@Josh: Great point about the overview report -- I’m happy to let you know that the report date range is now sticky! As for your performance reports, you can configure a default report by running a report and clicking on ‘set as default report.’
@Work at Home Mom, @Josh: Reports on the home page are calculated based on ad unit impressions. We will be changing the default to page views soon. Until then, you can access page view reports by going to performance reports and selecting ‘page views’ in the column selector drop down.
@Boris: We are working on further refinements to the reporting interface that should will make some reporting tasks easier. Thanks for the feedback!
@Anwar Ef: The new AdSense interface is available in Indonesian, whereas the old one was not. As always, we continue to support users who have websites in Indonesian language (this is not related to the language of the interface).
Thanks again for all of your feedback, questions, and compliments. We hope you continue to try out and enjoy the new AdSense interface!
Sincerely,
The Inside AdSense team
