Good move. I took advantage of it in my own small way. I just want to add that I have been part of the Adwords/Adsense programs for years, and I appreciate them. Google has always been fair to me and strange as it may seem to say this about a corporation, I trust you guys.

desperately need of food assistance. They have no homes, no
jobs, no food. The World Food Programme was there before the
quake, and they'll be there afterwards helping to rebuild lives.

It sure is a good thing and well done Google, glad you're living up to your old ethical code from the early days. I wish I could say it was altruism on my part, but I@m afraid it's for tax reasons. Still, good that others can benefit regardless. I hope the option of donating can be permanent! To all kinds of charity.
