A few weeks back, we announced that all publishers can now
integrate their AdSense accounts with Google Analytics. If you're not very familiar with Analytics yet, you might be interested in reading a recent post on the Analytics blog that addresses ten common myths about the product. For example, did you know that you can use Analytics to segment visitor data in real time, or that you can use the new Analytics API to tie your website data to your financials?
Check out the post to learn more about these features and other ways you can use Analytics to better understand your site stats.
If you haven't yet linked your AdSense account with Analytics, follow these steps:
- Sign in to AdSense.
- Click the link that says "Integrate your AdSense account with Google Analytics" on your Reports Overview page.
- Follow the onscreen instructions, and watch our video for additional guidance.
Even if you use AdSense in a language that's not supported by Analytics, you can still
link your accounts and view your Analytics reports in a different language.

well great title but where are the myths?
Where the Myths???
But all that i know that they say... if you link your Google Analytics with your Adsense account....your adsense CTR going to slump down to the bottom... Myths or Fact???? i do not know either...
Myth #11
AdSense staff will post a blog entry that bears any resemblance whatsoever to the title selected. Do you folks have any supervision? This is really amazingly unprofessional. The next AdSense blog post should be an apology for misleading everyone who took the time to read this post. Sheesh.

"Check out the post"? What does that make this post then? A verboten gateway page?
Could they not afford the electrons to post the information advertised by the title of the post here?
Does this post meet the sniff test of webmaster best practices of not having a deceptive title?
The non-myth is that the Adsense revenue in Analytics stats will be 20-50% different from the actual Adsense revenue, making the adsense stats in Analytics close to useless. I have Analytics installed on every page of my site, but everyday the numbers have a statistically significant difference. Unfortunate, since 100% accuracy is technically possible and would be *very* beneficial to publishers.
