How will my earnings be converted to Euros?
Once you switch to the new reports, earnings generated from advertisers paying in currencies other than the Euro will be converted. This will happen on a daily basis using the prevailing market rate from the previous day. If you generate earnings from an advertiser paying in Euros, they won't be converted.
When I'm issued a payment, will my earnings be converted again?
If you've switched to Euro reports and are receiving payments in Euros, there will be no additional conversions when your payments are issued. However, if you're receiving payments in U.S. Dollars, your payment will be converted from Euros to U.S. Dollars at the end of the month.
When I switch to Euro reports, will that automatically change the currency of my payments?
No, your selected payment currency and method won't change after you switch to Euro reports -- unless, of course, you want them to change. (You can update them by visiting the 'Payments Details' section under your My Account tab.)
Will there be a delay in receiving my unpaid earnings once I make this change?
No, making this change will not affect the timing of your payments. After you switch to Euro reports, your unpaid earnings in U.S. Dollars will be converted to Euros before the next upcoming payment selection deadline (typically the 15th of each month). For instance, if you make this switch on June 3rd, your unpaid earnings will be converted by June 15th; if you make this switch on June 20th, your unpaid earnings will be converted by July 15th.
How will this change influence VAT and any taxes I have to pay?
While you may receive your payments in your local currency, all payments are being made by Google Ireland, a company incorporated under the laws of Ireland, in accordance with the terms of your agreement with Google. Unless your business is in Ireland, you shouldn't have an obligation to charge Google VAT or treat any of our payments to you as VAT that needs to be paid to any VAT authorities. If your billing address is located in Ireland, you may have an obligation to charge Google Irish VAT. For more specific answers, we suggest you head for your local tax adviser.
I'm not located in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, or Spain. When will you include other countries?
We're working to offer Euro reports to publishers located in additional countries. When we do, we'll be sure to post any updates here on Inside AdSense.
Do I need to update my account if I'm eligible?
Although this change is currently optional, in the future we will require that publishers located in eligible countries make this switch. Eligible publishers who haven't yet updated their accounts will currently see an interstitial page with additional information after signing in. We understand that some eligible publishers would like to continue receiving payments in U.S. Dollars; while you can still choose to be paid in U.S. Dollars, it will be mandatory to view your reports in Euros.
If you're eligible to make the switch to Euro reporting, we encourage you to review the updated Terms and Conditions and update your account soon. To get started, sign in to your account and look for the prompt, "See your daily earnings reported in Euro amounts!" on your Reports Overview page. You can also find more information in our Help Center.

No so great. I operate mostly from France, but pay taxes in the US (US Tax Id), my customers are in the US, so most ads are from the US. So 80% of my revenue goes from USD to EUR to USD, losing 2 conversions.
I have changed in my account seetings in February from Dollar to Euro and now the calculation is wrong.
My earnings from February have been forwarded (not paid) and calculated together with an Euro amount that I earned in March. So I got in April a higher payment.
Now this bigger payment was recalculated (deducted) with a later earning (01-30 April).
My earnings (Apr 1 - Apr 30) show €441.36 but my balance at the end of April shows only €63.29
I am cofused.
What can I do now?
Where to report?
Thanks for help!
Summery:
471,38 Euro: Balance end of march
976,03 Euro: Payment 7 April (471,38 Euro plus the withheld previouse Dollar balance at the end of February 668,91 Dollar or 504,Euro)
€441.36 Euro: Earnings (Apr 1 - Apr 30)
€63.29: Balance at end of April
what's the conversion rate of $ and Euros today?
I like the idea, I wonder if when will Google pay in Philippine Pesos. I don't like the WU conversion here in the PH.
I am living in Germany.
Do I have to pay taxes myself
OR
Google will deduct taxes ?
Hi;
I have just converted to Euro reporting.
The language of my account also changed from English to French.
My sight is in English and targets an English audience.
How can I change the reposting language back to English?
To Change ur display language. Login ur Adsense account and go to >> "My Account" then "Language and Contact Preferences" and change ur display language.
Thanks
how I can change back to usd?
I like the Euro conversion. @Google, please take a look at Adsense Google Analytics report as well. My settings for adsense and analytics are Euro, but Analytics AdSense part is still in dollar.
I have two different sites with AdSense links - my Google Sites URL and another site that I had previously. Now I find that I can find no record or report on the first site - only on my Google Sites URL. How can I remedy this ?
WHY do we have to have Euro reporting?
We already get paid in Euros which is fine.
BUT I do NOT want my reports in Euros
This:
Removes my ability to retain compatibility with my existing systems.
Removes my ability to compare like with like.
Totally destroys my existing spreadsheet data.
And a number of other very good reasons to not want EURO REPORTING.
I have been talking about this with about 100 email and skype European contacts since and have found only 2 that do want it 4 that don't care and all the rest don't want it.
About 30 accepted the new conditions but wish they hadn't as they didn't realize what would happen and want to change back to dollar reporting
I just cannot see why it is so important to google to have the reports in Euros.
The payments I can see a reason but we have a choise with this.
So as it cannot make a difference to google what we get our reports in.
I ask again.
WHY?
WHY do we have to have Euro reporting?
Because people want it?
You complain about this, but there are good reasons to use Euro too.
If you don't like it, you don't have to switch.
Thanks Google for adding this option!
USD is not the money of the world, only USA.
hello to everybody hope i will hope that i have more to know about this site coz ..Im not toally understand how..thanks..but its cool...
Hi Guys,
In my personal opinion, the main reason why Google has offered this "option" to switch to European currencies is to increase business for its Irish subsidiary, which is subject to VAT. That means your earnings might decrease by 21.5% (VAT Rate for Ireland).
Another reason is Google Irish subsidary that is a private limited company. That means it might be less transparent than its parent company based in USA, which is a public owned company. In short say, we will not be able to find and analyse Google Irish subsidary latest financials and will might never know how much share we get per click in the future.
Good luck!

I don't think this change should be mandatory.
I'm in the UK, but most of my traffic is US based. When trying to optimise ad placements and measure long term performance, I'd rather be working the currency of most of my visitors (and the advertisers who target them), without exchange rate issues clouding the waters.
Surely allowing a permanent choice of reporting currencies isn't a difficult technical problem.
Do we have a choice?
This is ridiculous google must send me links to read while I made whole my own site for business! I don't want to live with their bunch of people and take care of their life, simple solution, I sell my products and they make their part of profit, how could they mess up people all the time?
What do you mean?
I am answered...
i dont wont to change my account to Euro. I like more $ then Euro. My country dont use Euro so why to change if i'm better with $.
How can we change back to seeing our revenue displayed in $US? I have made the change and it has messed up all my spreadsheets.
Please have a rethink here guys.
This is not useful to a large number of your publishers, including me. This is abundantly clear from all the comments above.
It's simple enough, make it optional instead of pressganging publishers into a change many do not want.
hi, i've changed my account to euro at July 14th, but may remaining usd earnings are not converted. Will i receive payment this month, or just the next month?
I don't understand what has happened to my earnings.
I changed to AUD from USD. My June report says that I did this, but converted $ for $. This was under the $150AUD for payment.
Now at the end of July, the value that it says since last payment is WAY less than the June total, but I have not been paid.
I am trying to get on some way to ask a question, but the help area is unavailable and I have ended up here.
Does anyone know?
I don't seem to be able to find the Google VAT number in Ireland. Can anyone help please?
i just want my euro calculation to turn back to dollar?
That's all very well and good, but Google doesn't understand the European Union or even World Travel for that matter. My language settings are English; but I have to read and accept terms that are written in Dutch. Does this mean they don't really expect me to read them at all, just accept them and bear the consequences of whatever is said?
Can I configure that all the Adsense ads in my website will be in a specific language (Hebrew for example) ?
WELDONE GOOGLE ADSENCE! PLEASE IS IT POSSIBLE I COLLECT MY DUES THRUGH WESTERN UNION? HOW?
