Site maintenance on Saturday, April 11

UPDATE (April 10, 1:24pm PDT): This site maintenance period has been canceled.

Our engineers will be performing routine site maintenance this coming Saturday from 10am to 2pm PDT. Although you won't be able to log in to your AdSense or Google Ad Manager accounts between these hours, we'll continue to track your clicks, impressions and earnings as usual. In addition, ad serving and targeting won't be affected.

We've converted the maintenance start time for our international readers:

London - 6pm Saturday
Bucharest - 8pm Saturday
Kolkata - 10:30pm Saturday
Bandung - 12am Sunday
Sydney - 3am Sunday

Thanks for your patience. In the meantime, if you're curious about what goes on during these maintenance periods, check out this post from one of our AdSense engineers.

Hi Niño Ray Yeh,

Due to an issue we're experiencing, publishers are currently unable to log in to their AdSense and Google Ad Manager accounts. However, ad serving has not been affected.

Our engineers are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We'll keep you updated on the status via our Help Forum and the blog header above this post.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

i have no hits and one click.

lets not pretend it's working shall we.

Cmon, is there someone working to fix this? My staff monitor the stats on an hourly basis to track activity and adapt our marketing. We can't work that way!

Greg said...

Yeah, I am experiencing the same... My stats are WAYYY down! :( PLEASE FIX!

Gods of Chaos said...

Thanks God that the high unreal stats is actually a maintenance issue. For a moment I was going OMG! Surely hope that high inflated stats will be back to normal soon.

nigelcoldwell.co.uk said...

if you can put the warning about the maintenance on the stats page surely you can post something about the stats being screwed too.

It's terrible, clicks and revenues are not recording properly. I've lost a lot of money this week. I know the clicks are being made, but they are not recording so I'm screwed out of money. And this has been going on a long time. See, I am not the only one experiencing this and the money that we lose is never recorded. You claim the clicks are being recorded and we will get our money, but we don't. You get paid--we don't

JP said...

ok too funny now. I have recovered impressions and clicks, but my eCPM is 1/5th of what it was before the maintenance (it's based on hundreds of thousands of impressions, so it's statistically valid). Are you trying to find golden eggs among your publishers...those who bring you the money!?

JP said...

I really don't understand why in the world, the wealthiest company in the world can't dare to have a support phone line to support those who bring the money.

Is any insight available concerning today's abnormal nose dive in revenue vs ad-views generated? Something still seems to be definitely off at the moment. Can you update us?

Inside AdSense Team said...

Hi William,

I’ve just checked in with our engineers, and they let me know that the technical issue last night (and the resulting stats display delay this morning) didn’t affect the recording of revenue. They also noted that some publishers may see fluctuations in stats during the course of the day, but these stats should stabilize by the end of the day.

I’m sorry this doesn’t help explain the behavior you’re seeing in your account, but I’ll keep you posted if I receive any additional info from our engineers.
