With love, from me (the AdSense Crawler) to you

We recently caught up with our friend the AdSense Crawler, who wanted to share this poem with our publishers:Red roses are fine for showing your love,
Kisses, jewelry, and chocolate, they’re okay.
Yet my heart skips a beat from none of the above,
Ask me what thrills and delights me and I’ll say:
Great content’s what contents me when I visit your site,
Stuff your truffles and send me a rich word bouquet,
Keep your flowers, give me phrases, they’re what excite!
Every day crawling your pages is Valentine’s Day.
- The AdSense Crawler
Happy Valentine's Day!

I feel good when you visit me,
full of silence, and with love,
checking if everything is right,
and finding the best way to serve.
You are smart to find the best,
but sometimes, even you fail,
you can't give me what I deserve,
keeping the bests in reserve.
However, I love you,
for your efforts, and your support,
thanks for appearing on my stats,
as "Media-Partner Googlebot".

Hey, are the techies at Adsense having a Valentine Day party?
I'm kidding but my site clicks have not changed since 4 a.m. this morning.
I don't want (can't afford to) lose my revenue. It's what pays the rent!
Glad to know I'm not the only one.

They'll never tell you what the problem was or is and of course will assure you ALL of your clicks were registered during the down time youre stats didn't show. Stats are registering now---but they aren't correct--lost more than 12 hours of revenue. Not a nice Valentine

you need to respond to the fact that adsense is not reporting for many of your publishers.
This kind of whimsy carp is actually quite offensive given the fact that adsense is screwed. Remember we, the publishers, are adsense.
Whomever allowed the release of this poem fluff whilst adsense is broken basically needs to apologise and think about a new job. This google daftness is only funny when it's not our money at stake.
Explain and fix. And grow up.

Me thinks the Adsense servers protest too much.
I have checked my hosting logs against my adsense reporting (or lack there of) and am not amused.
There must be an accounting for this oversight. You cannot take away our revenue without making it up to us. I'm sure you have raid servers or you should.
Yes, it will be a lot of work for you but then we, the publishers, make money for you and we don't take kindly to being cheated out of our share.
Kindly correct this mistake. I'm sure there will be blogs on this.
Thank you in advance.
L.

carsandtrucks.com is also missing a large number of page impressions and therefore clicks. Are these going to be restored?

Here's the latest information I've received: we experienced an issue today (Feb. 14th), beginning at 4am PST and lasting several hours, which affected publisher stats and reporting. None of the stats were lost though, and our engineers are working on getting this data back online as soon as possible.
I’ll keep you all posted with any additional updates I receive. Thanks for your patience in the meantime, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi news,
Publishers will be credited for earnings generated today. Our engineers are still in the process of updating publisher reports, and so your earnings will be updated as your stats continue to 'catch up'. (This reporting issue also affected AdWords advertisers, so our engineers are working to update AdWords and AdSense accounts in parallel.)

Today i have clicks but no impressions so i hope we don't think this is fixed.
I'm struggling to understand why this hasn't been given it's own entry on the adsense blog. the valentine's day fun is all well and good but not at the expense of actual real content. what is the blog for if not to keep people informed?
google doesn't normally shy away from admitting to it's mistakes. I think we've come to expect more from google.

For that matter an entry on the main adsense page would be pretty useful. something to the effect of we are currently experiencing difficulties displaying your stats, be assured you will not lose any revenue.
I can't be the only person to have logged in and thought that their server had gone down or that their site had been hacked (again.)
P.S. - do people think that you can't tell when they spam their URLs on this board or don't they care?

Julie Beckmann, stick to prose. Your blog slobbering gives poetry a bad name.
Kudos to all who complain about this post. While publishers are kept in the dark and losing money, the well-paid Googlers resort to nonsense.
We, Adsense publishers, are your PARTNERS, not your lovers, not your friends, not your patsies.
I found this poem personally offensive and would appreciate an apology. In the meantime, my stats updated but are still very well off their norm. And today, Sunday, stats are again stuck.
Enough nonsense, Google. Stop taking bread off our tables and posting sickening crap.
Regards,
Rick Gagliano

Hi Adsense team,
I have been using adsense for my blogs and sites and adhering strictly to google adsense program policiies and i have taken an oath to myself to remain honest with google. My progress for last 8 months has been relatively low but I am happy as I am growing steadily with adsense.
I wanted to bring something dangerous to your program. Yesterday I was just surfing around. I saw a site with following quote:
"Please support our cause to bring to you latest information, analysis and data relating to investments, finance and tax, by clicking on the google ads (below).
It will not cost you anything except a few seconds...
Thank you.
"the url of this site is : http://shubhamconsultants.blogspot.com/
I was stunned by this site owner's this statement made on his / her site. I was also set aback as why Google Crawler or your so called "Google Police " could not identify such a site till now. This site is still showing google ads with a heading above the ad , "please click on our google ads it will not cost you anything. "
So, I request you, "the entire google adsense team" to please check such holes in your such a prestigious program. Otherewise every publisher would do the same and its against the "faith of your adword" advertisers. I am so much concerned about this because in future I am also interested in adword advertisings at google.
Hope your team shall look into it.

Adsense stats aren't working properly today either. Impressions recorded are way behind the actual traffic. My adsense revenues took a nose dive last year for no apparent reason other than they weren't recording properly. Since that time, my revenues have been down 50%.
