On that note, many publishers have asked us why they don't see any changes in their stats each time they log in, or why they sometimes see a 'No data available' message in their reports. This is because your reports are generally updated every 15 to 30 minutes, but there can sometimes be a delay of up to 24 hours. In addition, it can take up to 24 hours to fully verify our internal logs and finalize your reports -- as a result, you may sometimes see changes in your earnings during the course of the day. Please also keep in mind that your reports won't show data for impressions on public service announcements (PSAs).

I check my earning 4 ... 5 times a day ... i get it about updating .. and i`m sure you are doing everything that is possible to update it as fast as you can. Keep up the good work :)

Earlier I did have this habit but even then I never checked it 4-5 times a day. I don't think its of any use to check it even DAILY.
As for me, I check whenever I have free time, it can be next day or even a week.
I check my earnings every 2-3 hours. But sometimes when I try repositioning my ads on my sites I wish the reports would update a bit faster.
I will log-in to see my Adsense stats once in a day only. Fortunately I'm not suffering from G.A.S.S. That's why I'm making money online...
I try to make it just once a day at most - for the previous day - but when the markets are especially volatile or when I'm experimenting, I am sometimes guilty of doing it more often. It DOES take time so I try not to go too often!
I check my account almost every hour.
All of a sudden there was drop in my earning this week and so I am loggign in almost every minute now lol

LOL! That's really funny--an acronym for checking Google stats. I used to have G.A.S.S.! I checked my stats about every hour. It's been three years now and I've mellowed out, checking once a day or less if I forget. Forget? When I had G.A.S.S., I would not have believed there would be time when I would forget to check my stats!
I usually check 3 times a day. Once before I get started on my blogs for the day (5:30 AM - to get the final data from the day before), again around noon, and around 6:00-7:00 PM before I turn the computer off for the night.
I'm actually more likely to check my site's traffic meters more often to see what content is driving the traffic for that day.
When I first started with adsense I checked many times a day. As traffic and earning became ore predicatable, I sometime only check once a day.
Consider a alerter service that would send email or SMS when earning rise or fall from past performance

I used to check it a lot, but i also earned very little at that time (like 4 times a day). Now i earn a lot more and i check it once every 2 days or so :D

I check my stats a few times a day.
I haven't noticed discrepancy's in the reports they have been accurate for me.
I think i will check them from now on the next day, since the data may shift until the finial update.
I check them ~5 times/day, although some days I don't check them at all, depends on how I feel.
My fingers get tired from hitting refresh so often :)

I check my GA stats and earnings once a day. I agree, I was afflicted with GASS until I realized that it's really useless and a waste of time.
Now, I just log-in at day's end. Seeing how much I earned and further studying the complete stats for the day helps me plan and prepare my next SEO tasks.
my earnings at this point are so minimal that I only check my stats every two or three days, at the rate I am going you will owe me a check around 2017 (lol)
Lately, since I made some changes to placements, I've been doing it like crazy, 5-8 a day. I have 3 Adsense tabs open and compare each channel.
This will probably stop once earnings go down again.

I just recently started another new blog so I'm checking probably once an hour to see how the ads are performing. Once I've got a new blog running with the ads performing as well as I think they can be I usually just check once at the end of the day.
Usually, I check my stats once in a day. But, I login multiple times when I'm creating and managing AdUnits for my sites.
I Usually check my account more than 5 or 6 times a day.

Ok I am a little bit mental, but I check my account at least 5 times each hours. Do not know why :) My earnings are really low. Am I adsense addicted ?:)
I use a Firefox add-on called AdSense Notifier that displays impressions, clicks, and earnings at the bottom of my browser. I can see how my site is doing throughout the day. If clicks and earnings suddenly drop, I can go see if some new advertiser that my web site visitors hate has taken over the ads and I can block them.
I check every 40-50 minutes, but I also noticed that sometimes for example I have 20 click and when I open AdSense for Content "Top Channels" link I see only 18 links so I don't on which channel I had those 2 clicks, is it a bug in system or something else.

I check the numbers, once every one or two days and have a spreadsheet that estimates it will be April 2009 before my first cheque will arrive.

When I was new to Adsense (3years ago) I had the GASS. I was close to my first 100$ and was excited. After my first cheque the GASS grew stronger and remained that way for an year or so. Nearly after two years of work, I have a steady stream of income flowing. I now have a better understanding of what affects my site and now I don't really feel like checking my stats every hour. I still check once a day and sometimes once in two or three days.
I would suggest all those with GASS that they should use it positively not only just check your stats also make sure to improve your content and use optimization tips. it will make you really happy when you realize that an optimization tip you applied last night has started paying out amazingly.

I just started but also make more money on infolinks.com the words are linked to ads. They seem to work MUCH better than adsense. WHY?

Google Adsense Site Status Problem.
During time, i made a graphic with hour previsions gains, impressions, and CRT, if CTR and impressions drop... something is wrong, (site is off, server burn, SERPS change results etc etc),
Is a quick check to all sites at same time, if values are mutch diferent from daily hour basis something is wrong (not wrong diferrent).
i use a little script to get results every hour. It's first time i heard about GASS...
Anyone know some tool to get overall status results from several site at same time... google adsense report is the closest tool i know i can get quick overall performance results.

I check my account everytime I get back to my computer. Which I guess is at leat once an hour sometimes more.
Also around the 20th of each month I get what my wife and I have called "the Google fever". Thats because were getting close to Google paying out the earnings that I check every hour. Its always the last week of the month and sometimes I cant get any work done for days until payday has arrived. Silly isnt it?

I'm a bit of a grass roots geek marketer, but I generally check once a day. Sometimes I miss a day or 2. When I first started to see earnings and more traffic on my sites, I had GASS. Now I look at the previous day and current day stats for raw data, channels and searches. I use analytics to drill down on user behavior and for traffic analysis. I like AdSense for Publishers, I like it.

It's be nice to know who the main advertisers are. There's one advertiser who drops out now and then while they revise their ads or whatever, and I can FEEL it when they do.
The day after I posted here, my earnings dropped to almost nothing. Coincidence? I wonder.

i use to check my adsense every hour but now its after every 4-5 hours.. and trust me i feel normal after reading posts above, i thought i was crazy or something to check every hour!:)
I think there is no one good answer as to how often you should check and at what point it is an addiction.
Obviously if you make $100 a month and you are checking every hour you sure need addiction treatment but if you make 4 or 5 figure a month, then more frequent checking makes perfect sense.
I a kinda in the second category and with all the content initiatives we launch daily, we need to track the performance, every two hours during the work day only on weekdays.

The first thing I do every morning 7 days a week is sign into my google email, the second thing I do is sign into my Adsense account. They both stay opened until I go to bed at night and I probably check my adsense revenue every 5 to 10 minutes all day long. Sad I know, but I just love watching it!!!!
Can someone at google PLEASE make an official igoogle adsense gadget for people who suffer from G.A.S.S. I know there are a few non official adsense gadgets floating around but i don't like the idea of handing over my user name and password to an unofficial gadget.

I check my adsense 4-5 a day too, and usually it works just fine. Keeping in mind the different time zone (UK).
What does look remarkable is that sometimes I hardly have any income / clicks at all and then the next day it all of a sudden doubles. As if it all has been delayed by 24 hours!

I check my adsense reports 4-5 times a day.i have a problem my adsense for contents are showing active and i see the google ads for in my web page for 2-3 hours and after that the ads are gone.Why i am seeing google ads for only 2-3 hours.I have seen others websites with google ads and those ads are showing without any interruptions.

Well I have recently been checking 1 - 2 times a hour because I only recently joined adsense and I want to make sure everything is right. 2 - 3 days from now I will probably start checking only 1 a day.
I have had no luck with Adsense, but I hope you guys have better luck then what I have had because I gave up, its to much head ache for me.
I write for another site. I am not bashing google, but it took me 3 weeks to get it, together and I still have not gotten it yet, If they had some techs to guide you through what to do then I might have better luck.

Please, I don't understand why adsense in blog always zero money?
I checked my asdsense before 2 days while my adsense ID was created. After 30 minutes I again saw it, my balance was 0.01$. Then I logged it out. Again after 16 hours I opened it it was 0.00$ ! why? Now againg after 2 days I saw that my balance my $0.00!even there are clicks to my website. Why is it so?
