Introducing the Known Issues page...and a known issue

A number of you have informed us that your reports are substantially lower than usual today, or aren't being updated. Our engineers are currently investigating the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Please be assured that your account data has still been tracked, so this issue will not affect your earnings or payments. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for being patient.

On that note, we'd like to let you know about the new Known Issues page, where you can check for updates on this reporting issue and other existing issues. There can be occasional hiccups in our system, but we hope that this new resource will help increase transparency and keep you informed. Whenever possible, we'll also try to include temporary workarounds and updates about each issue as we work to resolve them.

Thanks again for bringing this reporting issue to our attention - we encourage you to check the Known Issues page and our AdSense Help Forum for updates.

My impressions aren;t updating and i normally get like 30x more than what i have right now. However, the other items like clicks appear to have updated and without my impressions updating, its inflating the rate of everything else. Will this count against me, since it is a google error?

Thanks for the headsup. I thought for a while there that my Indiana Jones posts had somehow backfired...! Is it possible to get an RSS feed running on the Known Issues page or some other form of headsup so we're not having to check it manually?

I have noted that the number of page impressions logged is about half recent traffic for a Tuesday on our Finfacts site but the click-thru rate has increased.

Great idea!

I second the request of Widgett Walls to have an RSS feed to helps follow the latest known issues as they are published.

Paypal also has known issues page with an RSS feed. It is very helpful because we do not need to keep polling the known issues page to be aware of new problems.

Oh, darn, you're right. The clicks are tracking even though the impressions aren't. I didn't magically figure out how to quadruple my click-thru rate :-)

I thought perhaps it wasn't counting non-profit ads as it did before. My traffic was down by 1/2 at least, but revenues were consistent. Analytics show normal visitor count today. If it was just taking non-profit ads out of the mix I thought that might make sene.

Could you implement a link to "known issues page" right into our adsense accounts, so we don't have to look for this link all over the google database?

That would surely ease all our publishers minds. At many webmaster forums people were anxious to know whats going on and a simple integration of "known issues" right into adsense accounts would solve many future matters.

How can you have the sheer audacity to suggest that we go to the Adsense Help forum for help on such matters. For at least five hours, members were trying to find out in that forum WHAT was happening. There are supposedly three or four Adsense Pros in that Forum who were VERY conspicuous by their absence for this period, and when they did appear, they were as effective as the orchestra on the Titanic! Good thing that you posted the error here, I thought it was invalid clicks - zero impressions but few clicks - make me worry for a while there.

25 impressions , 50 clicks for $0.0
weird
Hope fixed soon

Another voice in favor of an RSS feed for the "Known Issues" page -- I'd like to be told there's a problem before I have to go looking for it.

So there is a day I had 10% of what I suppose to have ..

Why we hold the loss while it was a google error ?

I've noticed my clicks down compared to impressions, weird. Maybe i just had a bad day lol

I'm glad I came here to find out what was going on. I was quite concerned when I noticed my impressions were only at 34 when I normally get 100's. lol

I noticed today that somehow my ad's page impressions are not being counted properly and CTR's are unusually very low today. Is there a problem right now?
