- This payment method is currently only available to individual payee names; we can’t offer it to businesses.
- You'll need to bring your government-issued ID to pick up your payment, so please make sure that your AdSense account payee name exactly matches that of your ID. Please contact us if you need to update the payee name in your account.
- Payments must be picked up within 35 days of issuance or they will expire. If this happens, a payment hold will be placed on your AdSense account and the payment will be credited back to your account.

Here's my experience with Western Union:
I'd sent money to a recipient in Russia via Western Union.
Western Union phoned me 5 (yes FIVE) days later to inform me they could not deliver the money.
The reason they gave was that my recipient has a 'suspicious' name.
The reason they gave for the five day delay was that they had to conduct an 'investigation'.
They also said I had to provide an address for the recipient.
There was no space for recipients address on the form I had to fill out when I sent the money originally. The agent that took the money to be sent, including a substantial Western Union fee never asked me for an address, or informed me that such a problem might arise.
What irked me most was firstly the five day (yes, FIVE DAYS for something billed as an 'instant' service to tell you they decided not to put it through, but to run an 'investigation' instead) and secondly how their agents who phoned me and the supervisor I managed to talk to made it out to be normal and somehow MY fault for not providing the address. I repeat, there is no space for recipients address on 'send money' form, nor was I informed by the agent that such information even MIGHT be necessary. I would have happily provided the address.
As for a suspicious name, my recipient has one of the most common names in Russia, not that it should be in any way relevant.
So it seems the whole Western Union company is a scam. It appears this company considers itself to be in the business of conducting investigations, passing on customer information to governmental agencies (read the Wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Union#Blocked_transactions), and whatever they say in commercial about it being an 'instant' or even 'fast' service is very much questionable. Beware

I am very interested to setup my adsense payment with western union. I am in Pakistan and according to information western union is available in pakistan. But when i try to configure payment mode as western union quick cash, There is no option "Western Union Quick Cash radio button" available in my adsense account under payment detail section. Only two options available, Check normal, Check secure.
I reviewed my country name and it is showing properly as Pakistan in Adsense Profile and i receive check properly to my address but its taking too long time while receiving check, deposit check in bank and chash availability.
Now i need a way how i can setup western union as a mode of payment.

We are much depending on Citibank to cash our check. Other banks charge us very high bank fee.
Please add ALGERIA for the Western Union Quick Cash payment channel since it's very difficult to cash Adsense checks here, not to mention it takes too long.

As suggested by google, i had to edit my payment type from my adsense account but there's no option or button for me to change my payment type to wetsern union quick cash. I have been receiving my checks through secure delivery and with that my earnings have to be deducted by $24 which is already a pain for me, since I'm only earning less than a dollar a day. I believe I have signed up for adsense as Individual account not Bussiness account, but how come there's no option for me to receive payment through western union from my account settings? If I happen to signed up with adsense as Bussiness account, how do I close my account and sign up again as an Individual account so I can opt for a western uinon quick cash payment? I checked today my account and saw that a payment was issued on Jun 23rd, I went to a WU office and they couldn't find my payment. After I got back, I found that there is a 35 days limit to pick them up...
Is it possible to send a notification by mail when a payment is made?

Has anybody notice that nobody from Google is responding to your inquiries? What you can do is to wait for your country to have enough Adsense earnings so Google can initiate a special arrangement with Western Union and include it to their service. Having Western Union branches in your country does not mean that Google will be able to send your Adsense earnings via WU.
Google will not waste their time and money if your country has low publisher and/or advertiser income. Don't forget that Google is a business entity and the focal point of it all is income.

If you have an adsense business account instead of an individual one, the WU option is not available. BTW I don't know how to change this status from business account to individual. I would like Adsense to expand its Western Union payment to Papua New Guinea. My earnings have already passed US$100 but I know that it will take forever if I receive a cheque, therefore, I have put my payments on hold, and hope that Adsense can expand its Western Union.
